Vanessa began practicing yoga as a teenager in high school. In 2015, she found that the practice of yoga began to heal her physical body from years of postural issues. She also found that it eased her mind of anxiety and depression while taking her soul on a spiritual journey. This past year Vanessa enhanced the journey by completing a 200 hour immersion at Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe, NM to become a Registered Yoga Teacher.
Mindfulness has been a significant part of Vanessa’s life. Food as medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices have been used to overcome health issues. These passions are integrated in navigating her health and life. Vanessa also enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, photography, snowboarding, adventuring, trying new things, and traveling as often as possible.
