Moab Yoga opened on March 1st, 2012. The studio was created with love for the practice of yoga and the community we live in. At Moab Yoga, we strive to offer a diverse schedule of classes to meet the varying needs and interests of our community. Our classes range in focus from therapeutic, gentle, athletic, physically challenging or spiritual. Each teacher offers their personal experience and personality to create a class experience that is uniquely theirs.
The teachers and students at Moab Yoga are what make the space special. Without the teachers we would be just a space. Without the students the teachers wouldn’t be able to teach. Our intention is to maintain this space for the amazing teachers and students by creating an environment that is clean and friendly – a space where you feel comfortable coming to practice. We welcome experienced practitioners and individuals that have never practiced yoga, Pilates, or Yamuna Body Rolling. If you are new to yoga, check out this page for information to get you started.
We update our schedule to reflect the seasons in Moab. In addition to our weekly schedule, we also offer workshops, special events and adventure yoga retreats.
Moab Yoga was founded by Angela Houghton. Angela moved to Moab, Utah in 2001 to be a Mountain Bike Guide. She worked for both Rim Tours and Western Spirit Cycling before starting Moab Yoga. Moab Yoga is a beautiful space to practice. Our studio is available to rent for workshops and special events.
